A New Environment!

Hmm...this is a very late post but I can explain. We all have just moved to a new surrounding and it's all very exciting, it's much better than our old house and I have a BIGGER garden! It's so exciting! I have so much space to run around in and I was very, very good during the move. My parents never left me on my own and there was always someone playing with me. I have my very own room downstairs and a much bigger kitchen  and cosy living space. Anyway enough about my new house let me tell you how good I'm getting and my lovely walks. Right now we are walking for 20 minutes every day and it's so exciting (we are much closer to the park now).

My training classes are going very well but next week is my last lesson but mummy is taking me to the advanced class afterwards. I should soon get my certificate and my whole family will be very proud of me! Oh and I haven't told you the REALLY exciting news! Me and mummy are going to be in YourDog magazine to test a product out! Mummy says it's because I still keep on having accidents around the house but I guess that turned out as a good thing! I can't wait!

I seem to get tired quite a lot lately, must be all the excitement and walking. But one last thing I have to mention, I get to meet a new family member in April, my mummy's auntie and my other mummy's sister (confusing). So much happens when you're a small little puppy like me, but I'm enjoying every bit of it! Thanks for reading everyone.

Playful Times!

I've been having so much fun lately, playing with all my toys and having fun on walks! I thought I'd share two funny videos of me playing around, having fun! My mummy really likes the first one in particular because se finds it so funny when I start barking at the camera! :P The second video is me and mummy playing with one of my toys! I hope you enjoy watching these two videos and please comment and tell me what you think.

Tommorow I would of stayed at my parents for a WHOLE month! And on the Thursday I'm going to be 4 months old, whoch means I can go on walks for an extra five minutes. I've also learnt the 'down' and my parents are all proud of me! Tonight my mummy's friend is coming over to come and teach me 'heel' and 'stay'. We're also looking forward to watch some movies together, how exciting!

Two Very Fine Walks

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted for quite a few days, I've been very busy lately. As you know I've completed my vaccines and I'm a fully walking dog. On Saturday I went for my very first walk and it was terrific. I enjoyed walking around the park but sadly I only was allowed to walk for 15 minutes. It was the most amazing thing ever, I love the smell of the grass and all the friendly dog faces. We also got to go to PetsAtHome and I loved all the toys and smell of food, and a very nice lady also gave me a treat. My parents bought me lot's of treats but I can't eat them all at once which is upsetting because I love food. While we were there I met a new species called the "rabbit", to my surprise I was smaller than the "giant rabbit" which I was quite surprised and shocked about. I'm not that small, aren't I? I also enjoyed my second walk on Sunday and I met another YORKSHIRE TERRIER!! She was only two months older than me and we had a nice little play. I probably enjoyed my second walk a lot more just because it was that bit warmer and there were more dogs to play with it! I love walks  A LOT and I can't wait to go again.

Sadly my daddy couldn't come with us because he had to go on a very important flight to Malta. :( I miss him so much and I get very upset when I hear his voice on the computer and when I hear footsteps I always rush to the door to check if he's coming. Mummy said that he'll be coming next Tuesday which means I also have to miss puppy school but like I said in my last post my mummy's friend is coming to teach us. I'm learning new things every day and my parents say I'm such a clever dog.

My mummy ordered me a nice pretty soft dog harness for me so I'll be safer on my walks. It's very nice and pink with lot's of hearts. I can't wait for it to be delivered! Also today my mummy got a new book called 'Be the Pack Leader' by a man named Cesar Millan. My mummy said it's very interesting and all about a dog behaviorist making dogs be nice and calm again. Mummy said that I had nothing to worry about and that I was good as gold but she finds his books very interesting and informative. I would love to get my paws on it but sadly I'm not allowed which is a shame. Hmmph! As you can tell we've all been very busy lately and I hope you don't mind my late post. I'll try post back as soon as I can.

Horrible Vets and Learning Tricks

Yesterday wasn't a very good day for me, the vets were horrible and it hurt quite a bit. That's why I didn't post last night about the appointment, because my arm was hurting. I had my last vaccine and microchip. The vaccine was ok, but the microchip was what hurt the most. When we got home my arm was in pain so I wasn't in a perticular good mood. My parents were very worried about me but I'm fine now. I woke up in the morning nice, happy and my bouncy usual self! At least now I'm safe and I can go on my first walk very soon.

Tonight we went to puppy school again! It was so fun and I did better than last week. This week we practised our recalls again, as my trainers said that it is one of the most important things to learn. We are also learning 'down' and we have to practise it for the rest of the week. I was very good at my 'down', it took a while for me to get into position, but I got the grips of it at the end. The last thing we learnt at puppy school was 'leave it', we practised this trick in a game. I enjoyed this game a lot and I earnt a lot of treats for learning it so quickly. I sadly cannot go to puppy school next week as we're unable to get there. Luckily my mummy's friend is coming over in the weekend to practise some tricks with me. I can't wait!

Good Sit

My mummy is very, very happy with me because I have learnt how to sit without any treats. Everytime my mummy tells me to sit, I sit down in 'a lovely position' as she says. I'm very happy that I know how to sit now and that I made my mummy proud. I'm still a bit wobbly with it but I have learnt it! I can't wait to show my trainers my sit at puppy school on Tuesday.

Today I had a very nice lazy day in. Me and my mummy had a nice sleep together for about an hour and we enjoyed lot's of cuddles. I was sick this morning though but that's because I ran a lot after breakfast which made my tummy go funny. I learnt my lesson though now and I'm not going to do it again.

Tommorow I have an appointment at my vets for my last vaccine and microchip. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it much but I know I'll get lot's of treats and I can start going for my walks a few days afterwards. I have a lot going on right now but it's all very exciting!

A Knotty Afternoon :/

I am not happy at all!! My parents were being really horrible and just gave me a big old brush! It probably took about half an hour and it hurt...A LOT! I have a BIG knot on my leg and my parents are trying their best to get rid of it, it's nearly gone but...it's not!! At least I can honestly say I look all groomed up! Hopefully it'll come out soon or else the scissors need to come out and I'm not sure what they are, but they sound scary...

Anyway apart from that bad situation, my mummy got to stay in all day today and not get to go to school!!! We played and slept all day long, but she had to rest on the sofa most of the time, she said she had a bad foot or something like that. She couldn't walk much though so I was a bit worried but she seems fine and happy!! :P She gave me lot's of cuddles but I'm not a cuddly toy, I need my space!

Mummy told me that I could go for my first walk next week. Imagine how fun that would be. I simply can't wait! She said we're going to the park and I get to run around everywhere but on the lead, which is a bit upsetting but she doesn't trust me off lead yet :( I wonder how many squirrels there will be for me to chase!! I've heard lot's of stories about that so I can't wait to try it out. I better be off now though as I'm starting to get tired again, afterall I am a puppy.

My first day at puppy training!!

Hello, I'm very tired right now as I've just been to my first lesson at puppy training! It was very fun and me and my two mummies enjoyed it very, very much. I was very scared at first as I was the smallest dog there and I was surrounded by many big dogs. Many of the breeds included labradors, a schnauzer, a spaniel and even a golden retriever; so you can imagine how big the other dogs were compared to me. My recall wasn't that good but my mummy said I was very good at my sits and the chase game! At the end of the class we got to play with all the other dogs and I quite enjoyed that as all of the dogs were friendly. I really enjoyed puppy class and I can't wait to go again next week.
